Below that the kitchen cooks à la carte from the main menu instead, which works out cheaper for a small table anyway — a fixed menu earns its place when the food has to arrive together for a room, not when six people are ordering whatever they each feel like. Children between 5 and 10 count as half a head, and under five are not counted at all.

The three printed menus are vegetarian. That is what most kitty parties, office dinners and family celebrations here ask for, so it is what we set a price for. Non-vegetarian is absolutely possible for a group — the tandoor and the biryani are not going anywhere — but it is quoted rather than printed, because the price moves with what you pick. Tell us the headcount and roughly the veg to non-veg split and we will come back the same day.

Alcohol, anything ordered off the main menu on the night, and — on the ₹550 and ₹700 menus — raita and salad, which are ₹20 a head if you want them. On the ₹850 menu the raita and the salad are included, and both desserts are served rather than a choice of one. GST at 5% is added to the food. There is no service charge and no cover charge.

Not by default. The DJ plays until 10:30 PM and the floor is shared with the rest of the roof unless you book it exclusively, which is a separate arrangement and depends on the night — a Tuesday is easy, a Saturday in December is not. Ask when you enquire and we will tell you straight away whether your date is possible.

Yes, and that is the whole point of a fixed menu. You pick your starters, your mains and the rest when you book, the kitchen preps for exactly that, and on the night the food comes out together instead of in waves over an hour. It also means the bill is known before anybody sits down — headcount times the per-head price, plus GST, and nothing to work out at the end.

Yes, and there is no cakeage charge. Hand it over when you arrive and tell us when you want it brought out; it comes with candles, a knife and plates. If it is a surprise, say so on the booking and it arrives after the mains rather than the moment you sit down.
