Yes — Altitude takes private bookings from 20 guests in the private corner up to 60 on the whole rooftop, on fixed party menus at ₹749 or ₹850 a head plus 5% GST, with a third menu at ₹550 for kitty parties, which is booked for ladies' groups only.
The private corner seats 20, the air-conditioned room seats 40 and the rooftop seats 60 — and 60 is the whole roof, so a party that size has it to itself. What each space holds, what the menus cost a head, and what to have ready before you call.
Altitude is the top floor of Jaipur House on MG Road, six floors up over Rana Market in Shahganj. The whole floor is ours: an open rooftop looking out across the city and the rooftops around it, an air-conditioned room off the terrace, and a private corner set back from the main roof. We take private bookings across all three, every day of the week.
What we take private bookings for
Most bookings are one of these, and the shape is the same for all of them: one space, a fixed menu agreed in advance, an arrival time we plan the kitchen around.
- Birthdays and anniversaries, from a table of twenty up to the whole roof.
- Kitty parties, on a menu priced for them and booked for ladies’ groups only.
- Office dinners, team lunches, farewells and year-end parties.
- Engagements, roka and pre-wedding dinners.
If what you are planning is not on that list, ring rather than filling in a form. The answer is usually yes; the seating and the timing are the conversation.
The three spaces, and what each one seats
These are real seat counts — people sitting down and eating, not a standing maximum.

A party of twenty fits in any of the three. Thirty means the indoor room or the roof. Forty-five and up is the roof, and at sixty you have booked the rooftop’s entire seat count — which is the practical answer to the exclusivity question, because there is nothing left to sell. For a smaller party, or to hold all three spaces at once, ask the manager rather than assuming: it depends on the day.
The indoor room is worth knowing about for its own sake: air-conditioned, off the same kitchen, and the answer in May and in the rain, when a roof stops being the good idea it was in November.
What it costs a head
Groups eat off a fixed menu rather than à la carte, because a kitchen cannot send forty different dishes at once. There are three, all priced per person, all with a minimum of twenty guests.

Children are charged at half price — ask us to confirm the age band when you book. All three menus are vegetarian, so if you want non-veg on the table, say so on the phone and we will work out how. What you choose at each price, course by course, is set out on the party menus page.
One thing to be straight about: the codes on the offers page apply to ordinary reserved tables, not to party menus. Do not build a party budget around a discount on one. The rate above, plus GST, is what a head costs.
Under twenty people a fixed menu is the wrong tool anyway. The full menu runs to 225 dishes across fifteen sections — North Indian, Mughlai, Chinese, Continental and Italian, ₹20 to ₹830 — and a group of a dozen does better ordering from it.
Music, and the hour it stops
There is a DJ, and the fact to build the evening around is that the DJ plays until 10:30 PM. That is the hour, and it is fixed — so a party that is really about the dancing should start at seven rather than nine.
After 10:30 the kitchen is still going — last order is 11:00 PM — and the floor is yours until we close at 11:30 PM, but it turns into a talking hour rather than a dancing one. Arrange the DJ on the phone when you book; the booking form does not cover it.
How to book
A private event is a phone call rather than a form. The booking form takes up to sixty people and will hold a date — it confirms instantly, carries no booking fee and an ordinary table can be cancelled free up to two hours before — but the menu, the space and the DJ are agreed with the manager directly. Anything over sixty is arranged that way from the start.
- Get the headcount close to final. Twenty is the minimum for a fixed menu, sixty the ceiling for a single party.
- Call or WhatsApp the manager on +91 84451 00365 with the date, the headcount and the space you want.
- Agree the menu and the music on that call, and ask what we need in order to hold the date.

- Which menu, and whether you want non-veg alongside it.
- How many children, so the half rate goes into the quote.
- Whether you want the DJ, and whether anyone is bringing a cake or decorations — with how early you need to get in to set up.
